Splash Pages

Most of the time when I start a new arc, I do a splash page to introduce it, and then draw the first page. Sadly my splash pages don't get a lot of love (They normally don't get any comments), so I'm wondering if I should simply consolidate the two, and have the first page of the arc also be the splash page. Little less work and trouble for me that way. XD
